about
This single from the EP "Canciones a tu yo del pasado" ("Songs to your past self", is a new experimental work, 100% self-recorded and self-produced by Flores de Uranio. Being the most colorful and catchy song on the EP "Por los siglos de los siglos" ("For the centuries of the centuries") talks about the passage of time, childhood or how complicated it is sometimes to adapt to adult life and, both in lyrics and in sound, perfectly represents the particular style of Flores de Uranio, with that bittersweet air, characterized by bringing back, in the middle of the 20's, the British pop sound of guitars from the early 90s, from Belle & Sebastian to Pale Saints, "Por los siglos de los siglos" overflows noise and 90s jangle pop and adapts it in a unique symbiosis with its emotional lyrics in Spanish.
lyrics
Lyrics:
Enterrado bajo tierra
Dime si vendrás
Si me seguirás
Tú tan sólo pon
El pie en el pedal
Y volarás
Cuesta abajo y sin frenos
Junto a ti estaré
Siendo yo
Siendo yo
Poder siendo seguir siendo yo
Siendo yo
Siendo yo
Otro siglo más
Por los siglos de los siglos
Por los siglos de los siglos
